Communities Unite for ICC 2025 at 63 Beach Corentyene, Berbice, Guyana-27th September 2025 

On September 27, 2025, more than 120 volunteers joined the International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) 2025 at 63 Beach, Guyana, led by Guyana-PROMAR and CYEN Guyana under the PROMAR Project. The cleanup removed over 1.2 tonnes of waste, including thousands of plastic and glass bottles. The activity was also supported by Environmental Technical Solutions Inc., Massy Stores, Homeline Inc., Seacor Marine, and the National Park Commission, who were the local stakeholders and partners on this task.

The event strengthened partnerships, raised public awareness, and contributed valuable data to the global ICC database showing us that collective action can make a lasting difference.
