The PROMAR project focuses on strengthening public policies for Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) and the Circular Economy 🌍♻️. This study aimed to compile and analyze key international and national regulations on circular economy and EPR, with a focus on plastic packaging and single-use plastics 🛍️🔄, to support policy development in Costa Rica 🇨🇷.

The study has two parts:
Circular Economy Framework: It examines regulations in Costa Rica 🇨🇷, Colombia 🇨🇴, Chile 🇨🇱, Germany 🇩🇪, and the Netherlands 🇳🇱, comparing them.
Extended Producer Responsibility: It reviews policies and frameworks across the same countries, highlighting similarities and differences, and ends with recommendations for Costa Rica 📝💡.
