Annual PROMAR Meeting 2025- Paramaribo, Suriname
PROMAR has successfully concluded its week-long Annual Meeting in Paramaribo, Suriname πΈπ·, hosted with exceptional support from our PROMAR Suriname team, Green Heritage Fund Suriname π€.
The meeting brought together representatives from Guyana, Suriname, St. Kitts & Nevis, the British Virgin Islands, and Trinidad & Tobago to:
• Review progress on activities, outputs, and indicators π
• Discuss challenges and map targeted solutions π¬
• Present financially sustainable circular pilot models addressing plastic pollution β»οΈ
• Align on the 2026 work plan π
• Participate in a site visit to observe the marine litter context firsthand π
