Inspiring the Next Generation at the Education and Career Fair in Paramaribo 

The energy at the Education and Career Fair in Paramaribo was nothing short of inspiring! Our partner; Green Heritage Fund and their colleagues from the Amazon Conservation Team Guianas, Conservation International Suriname, and the Suriname Alliance for the Environment (SAFE), proudly showcased Suriname’s growing environmental sector to hundreds of curious and enthusiastic students. 🌿 

The fair provided an incredible platform to highlight Suriname’s vast potential in nature conservation and sustainable development. From lush rainforests to rich biodiversity, Suriname holds unique natural treasures — and with the right investment in people and education, they can ensure these are protected for generations to come. 🌍 

Our partner’s presence at the event was not only about sharing PROMAR’s work but also about connecting with the youth — the future stewards of our planet. They engaged in meaningful conversations, answered thoughtful questions, and encouraged students to continue their studies with the environment in mind.
